Alright, alright, lemme tell ya ’bout this Musetti fella and his gal. You know, the tennis player? Yeah, that one. Folks keep askin’ ’bout his girlfriend, so I figured I’d spill the beans, the way I see it.
So, this Musetti, he’s got himself a sweetie, name’s Veronica somethin’-or-other, Confalonieri, I think they said. Pretty name, ain’t it? Sounds fancy. They been together a good while now, two years they say. Two years! That’s a long time these days, you know? Kids these days, they change partners like they change socks.
- Musetti and Veronica
- Two years together
- They got a baby now
Anyways, they seem happy enough, from what I hear. They even went and had themselves a baby! A little boy, Ludovico they named him. Born in March, just this year. Imagine that! A young fella like him, already a daddy. Times sure are changin’. Back in my day, you waited ’til you were hitched and had a house and all that before you started havin’ babies.
I seen a picture of ’em somewhere, maybe in that there magazine my grandkid leaves layin’ around. They was all smiles, the both of ’em. Veronica, she looks like a nice girl, pretty hair and all. Musetti, he’s a handsome fella, gotta give him that. Though he looks a little skinny, if you ask me. Needs to eat more, maybe. Tennis players, they run around so much, they burn all their calories, I guess.
They celebrated their anniversary, you know, the two-year thing? At some fancy restaurant in Italy, Da Vittorio, I think it was called. Sounded real highfalutin. I bet the food was expensive. These young folks, they spend money like it grows on trees. But I guess if you got it, you can spend it, right? He makes good money, that Musetti fella, playin’ that tennis all over the world.
Now, I don’t know much about tennis, mind you. I watch it sometimes on the TV when there ain’t nothin’ else on, but I can’t make heads or tails of it half the time. All that runnin’ and hittin’ the ball, it makes my head spin. But Musetti, he’s good at it, they say. Wins lots of matches, makes lots of money. And he’s got himself a pretty girlfriend and a baby. Seems like he’s got it all figured out.
But you know what they say, money ain’t everything. You gotta have love, and family, and good health. Looks like he’s got the love and family part covered. Hope he stays healthy, that boy. Tennis can be hard on the body, all that twistin’ and turnin’. My old knees would never hold up.
So, there you have it. That’s the story of Musetti and his girlfriend, as far as I know it. They seem like a nice young couple, happy and in love. And they got that cute little baby boy. Good for them, I say. Wish ’em all the best. Maybe they’ll have more babies, who knows? These young folks, they like to have big families these days. Or maybe they’ll just stick with the one, that’s fine too. Whatever makes ’em happy.
Anyways, that’s all I got to say about it. If you wanna know more, go ask someone else. I gotta go make supper now. Got a hankerin’ for some fried chicken and mashed potatoes. Good, hearty food, that’s what I like. None of that fancy restaurant stuff for me.
And hey, if you see that Musetti fella, tell him I said hello. And tell him to eat more! He needs to put some meat on them bones!
Now, where did I put my glasses? Can’t see a darn thing without ’em these days. Getting old ain’t for the faint of heart, let me tell ya. But that’s life, I guess. You just gotta keep on keepin’ on, like they say.
And that’s the whole story, plain and simple. Musetti, girlfriend, baby… the whole shebang. Hope it was what you was lookin’ for.
