First off, you got these… whatchamacallits… Crucible things. It’s like a big ol’ fight club in that game. You go in there, guns blazin’, and try to outsmart them other fellas. It ain’t easy, mind you. Some of them are real good. Real good. But if you tough, if you got grit, you can make it.

- And you gotta have a plan, like when plantin’ taters.
Now, they got these ranks in there, see? Like, you start out small, like a little sprout. Then, you win some, you lose some, but if you keep at it, you start climbin’ up. They call it Competitive Crucible. It is competitive like two roosters fighting for the best hen. Just imagine!
Then there’s these other things… bounties, they call ’em. It’s like doin’ chores for somebody, but instead of gettin’ a pie, you get these points. These points help you get stronger. Like eatin’ your greens, you know? Makes you big and tough.

- Don’t forget, like you forgot your teeth!
And these points, they help you with your Artifact. Don’t ask me what that is, some fancy space magic thing. But it makes you powerful, like a mule kickin’ a barn door. The more points, the more powerful you get. It’s simple, like one and one make two.
Now, if you got more than one of them… them guardians, I think they call ’em… you can get more of these goodies. More points, more power. It’s like havin’ two gardens instead of one. More taters for everyone! More taters, more power!
They got these Advanced Ranks too. That’s for the real tough cookies, the ones who been playin’ since breakfast. You gotta do a whole bunch of things to keep them ranks. Gotta work for it, like keepin’ the weeds out of your garden. It is hard work, but it’s worth it, like a good harvest. You know, these advanced things are hard, very hard.
- Finish them tasks.
- Every single one.
- Before the season ends. Whatever that means.
These ranks, they ain’t just for show, you see. They show who’s the boss, who’s the top dog. Like the biggest pumpkin at the county fair. Everybody wants to be the best, right? That’s what these ranks are all about. You want that big, shiny medal, you gotta earn it. You gotta work hard, like we used to work on the farm, from sunup to sundown.
It ain’t easy, I tell ya. This Destiny thing, it’s a lot of work. But if you put your mind to it, if you got the gumption, you can do it. You can climb them ranks and be somebody. Just remember, it takes time. You don’t need to learn everyting right away.
So, go on out there and give it your best shot. Show ’em what you’re made of. Climb those Destiny ranks and make me proud! You are strong, you can do this! Just like plantin’ a seed and watchin’ it grow, it takes time, but it’s worth it in the end. Keep playin’, keep fightin’, and keep climbin’. That’s the way to do it. It is like life, you need to work hard to get things.
These young folks with their fancy games. Back in my day, we didn’t have all this. We had sticks and stones. But hey, times change. Gotta keep up with the young’uns, I reckon. This Destiny thing, it’s somethin’ else. But these ranks, they’re important. They show who’s who in the zoo. Like the pecking order in the chicken coop, you gotta fight your way to the top. Do not give up, never give up!

You need to have a good plan. How can you win if you don’t know what you are doing? These young people, they know what they are doing. You can learn from them. You need to keep learnin’, keep gettin’ better. That is the only way. Like, you don’t stop learnin’ how to cook just because you made one good pie, right? Same thing here. It is just like that. These young people always tell me that. Always do the bounties. It can be boring but it is necessary. I don’t like it either, but you need to do it. You can do this. I believe in you.
This whole Destiny thing is like a big ol’ puzzle. You gotta find all the pieces and put ’em together. These ranks are just one piece of the puzzle, but they’re a big one. You gotta keep at it, keep tryin’, and never give up. It’s like tryin’ to find a needle in a haystack, but you gotta keep lookin’ until you find it. And when you do, it’ll all be worth it. You’ll be standin’ tall, like the tallest sunflower in the field, lookin’ down on all the others. And you’ll know that you earned it, that you worked hard for it, and that nobody can take it away from you. These ranks, they are yours!
