Alright, so let me tell you about my experience with United Motorsports Cincinnati. I actually spent a good chunk of time there, trying to get my car fixed. It was a whole saga, let me tell ya.

It all started when my car started making this weird clunking noise. I mean, a really weird clunk. Sounded like something was about to fall off. I Googled around and United Motorsports Cincinnati had decent reviews, seemed legit, so I figured I’d give them a shot. Called ’em up, booked an appointment, and drove my clunky car on over.
First impressions were…okay. The place looked clean enough, the guys at the front desk were friendly. I explained the noise, they took my keys, and said they’d take a look. A few hours later, they called me back. Said it was my ball joints, needed replacing. Quoted me a price, which, honestly, seemed a little high, but I was desperate to get rid of the clunk, so I gave them the go-ahead.
They said it would be ready the next day. Cool. Next day rolls around, I go to pick it up. Paid the bill (ouch!), hopped in the car, and…the clunk was still there. Seriously?! I was steaming. I went right back inside and told them. They were pretty apologetic, said they’d take another look.
This time, they kept my car for two days. Called me back and said it was actually my sway bar links, and something else I can’t remember the name but it was another suspension component. They gave me another quote (even more ouch!), and again, I reluctantly agreed. At this point, I just wanted my car fixed.
Picked it up again, and…finally! The clunk was gone. Hallelujah! I drove around for a few days, everything seemed fine. I thought I was finally in the clear.

Then, about a week later, a new noise started. Not a clunk, but more of a squeak. Seriously? I was starting to lose it. I called United Motorsports again, explained the new squeak. They told me to bring it back in.
This time, I was a bit more assertive. Told them I wasn’t happy having to keep bringing my car back. They looked at it again, and this time, it was just a loose heat shield. Fixed it for free, which was nice, I guess.
So, all in all, my experience with United Motorsports Cincinnati was a mixed bag. They eventually fixed the problem, but it took a couple of tries and cost me more than I initially expected. Would I go back? Maybe, if I was in a bind. But I’d definitely get a second opinion first.
Here’s the breakdown:
- Pros: Friendly staff, clean shop, eventually fixed the issue.
- Cons: Misdiagnosed the problem initially, higher than expected prices, took multiple trips to get it right.
So yeah, that’s my United Motorsports Cincinnati story. Hopefully, your experience will be smoother than mine!
