Okay, so today I decided to dive deep into something I’ve been meaning to check out for ages: The Undertaker’s WrestleMania streak. I mean, this is legendary stuff, right? So, I wanted to see what all the fuss was about, from start to finish.
Getting Started
First thing I did was fire up my computer. Gotta have my trusty machine for this! I grabbed a big mug of coffee – essential for any serious research session. Then, I opened up my browser and got ready to go down the rabbit hole.
The Deep Dive
I started by, well, just watching some matches. There were some great matches in the 90’s. I found some of the old ones. It was tough, Man these videos were rough, super grainy, and the audio was all over the place, but that kind of added to the charm, you know? It felt like I was watching some secret, ancient history.
As I watched more and more matches, I started to jot down some notes. Just simple stuff at first, like:
- Opponent
- Year
- Anything cool that happened
I watched the matches against Jimmy Snuka, Jake “The Snake” Roberts, and Giant Gonzalez, early victories setting the stage. I felt the matches got better and better over time. I also realized that the audience played a big role in it.
After a while, my notes started to get more detailed. I began writing the match number, like, “WrestleMania VII,” “VIII” and so on. And then there was match “XI” , “XII” and so on until his streak ended.

Putting It All Together
After watching a bunch of matches, and with my notes looking like a crazy person’s diary, I decided to organize everything. So, I put them in order from the first match of the strick until his first lost match. It was awesome to see the whole thing laid out like that, from start to finish.
Honestly, it was way more interesting than I expected. I thought it would just be a bunch of wrestling matches, but it was this whole story unfolding over years and years. It’s pretty wild to see how The Undertaker changed over time, and how the whole wrestling world changed around him.
