Well, let me tell you somethin’ about this Zay Flowers fella. This young’un, he’s somethin’ else. He plays for that Baltimore team, you know, the Ravens. Should I start Zay Flowers? I hear folks askin’ that all the time. They’re wondering if they should put him on their, whatchamacallit, fantasy football teams. That’s some game they play on their phones and computers, I reckon.
Now, I ain’t no expert on this fantasy football stuff. I barely know how to use my old flip phone, let alone play games on it. But I hear things. I hear that this Zay Flowers, he’s been doin’ real good. He’s been catchin’ them footballs and runnin’ like a scared rabbit. He was the WR30 overall in 2023. That means something good, right?
They say he’s a wide receiver. That means he’s one of them fellas that runs way out there and tries to catch the ball when the quarterback throws it. And this Zay Flowers, he’s good at it. Real good. He’s been gettin’ a lot of points for them fantasy teams. I hear he’s been averagin’ 12.9 points per game. Last 7 games, he got 15.3 points. I don’t know what that means exactly, but it sounds like a whole heap of points to me.
- He’s been gettin’ a lot of targets.
- That means the quarterback, he likes to throw the ball to Zay.
- And Zay, he usually catches it.
- He’s a good catcher, that boy.
He was picked 22nd in that draft thing they do. Don’t know much about that, but it means he’s good. That’s all I need to know. They say he’s one of the best rookie players. Rookie means he’s new to the team, but he’s already makin’ a big splash. They call him an Offensive Rookie of the Year candidate. That’s a fancy title.
I heard he went for 136 receiving yards, whatever that is, over his past two games. That’s a lot of runnin’, I’ll tell ya. They say he is a high-end WR2 in fantasy. Well, good for him! He’s doin’ well for himself. He had a bye in Week 14, then he played against the Giants in Week 15. I don’t follow them other teams much, but I know Zay is good.
Some folks are sayin’ his average draft position (ADP) is 61. I reckon that’s important for that fantasy football stuff. It means somethin’ about when you pick him for your team. Sounds complicated to me. I just like watchin’ the games, seein’ them boys run around and hit each other.
Now, they say he had a big game against the Broncos. He got 29.7 points that time! That’s a whole mess of points, ain’t it? Sounds like he was runnin’ all over the field that day. They call him a fantasy X factor. He is a special player, that’s what that means.
So, should you start Zay Flowers? Well, if you’re playin’ that fantasy football game, I reckon you should. He’s been doin’ real good, catchin’ them balls and runnin’ like the wind. He is good at football, even I can see that. I mean, that boy can run. He’s fast as a greased piglet at the county fair. And he’s got good hands, too. He can catch a ball better than I can catch a fly with a flyswatter.
But even if you ain’t playin’ that game, he’s still a good player to watch. He’s fun to watch. He is always doin’ somethin’ excitin’. He might be young, but he plays like he’s been doin’ it for years. I reckon he’s got a bright future ahead of him. He’s gonna be a star, that Zay Flowers. You just wait and see. He is a good football player. A good boy.
I don’t know all them fancy football terms, but I know what I see. And I see a good football player in that Zay Flowers. You can bet your bottom dollar on that. If you want a good player, Zay Flowers is good. He is the best. He can run and catch. He’s the best player on the Ravens. You should start him. You should start Zay Flowers. That’s all I gotta say about that.
