Okay, so I saw this “SGA Draft Night Outfit” thing trending and, honestly, I was curious. I’m not a huge fashion guy, but I like to look decent, you know? So, I figured, why not try to recreate it? Or at least, get inspired by it.

The Deep Dive
First, I had to figure out what the heck this outfit even was. I started by looking at images of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander on draft night. Man, that dude has style.
Breaking it Down
It was all about layering. I saw a longer shirt, with a cool Jacket, and some nice pants. I also noticed the shoes–they’re important!
The shirt: find any longer shirt, the color is not the most important part.
The jacket: Find any jacket, better to keep it simple.
My Attempt
So, here’s what I did. I went through my closet.I’m not gonna lie, it was a bit of a struggle at first.

- I found a longer, white shirt that kinda worked. Not exactly the same, but hey, close enough, right?
- And I picked a simple black jacket I had.
- For pants, I had some regular-fit jeans. I think that’s fine.
- Lastly, my shoes.I don’t have the exact shoes that he had, so I picked something similar in color and shape.
The Result
I put it all together. I have to say, It felt a bit…different. Not bad, just different from my usual t-shirt and jeans. I added some simple accessories. You know, just to complete the whole “trying to be stylish” vibe.
The whole process was actually kind of fun. It pushed me out of my comfort zone, clothing-wise. I might not be rocking this look every day, but it definitely gave me some ideas. I might mix and match some elements into my regular outfits.
