Okay, so, I wanted to check out what happened at the Phoenix Open this year. I’m not a huge golf fanatic, but I do like to keep up with the big events. This one was from February 8th to 11th, 2024.
First, I tried to remember where it even took place. I recalled it’s always in Scottsdale, Arizona, at this place called TPC Scottsdale. Apparently, the crowds there are wild! And they’ve got this famous 16th hole they call the Coliseum. Sounds pretty intense.
I started my search by looking up “Phoenix Open leaderboard”. It should be an easy search, I thought. And, wow! there’re tons of results. I decided to see what Flashscore had to offer. They had the full leaderboard, showing the final results and even the results from each day. That’s pretty handy if you wanna see how things changed throughout the tournament.
- First, I found out this guy Nick Taylor won it.
- Then, I read that he also had a big win at the Canadian Open last year. Good for him.
Digging Deeper
The Flashscore site was cool and all, but I wanted a bit more info. So, I went and checked out the PGA TOUR’s official site. They had this “PGA TOUR Live Leaderboard” for the 2023 WM Phoenix Open. I guess “WM” stands for Waste Management, the sponsor.
Anyway, seeing all this stuff made me realize how much goes into these tournaments. It’s not just about hitting a ball; there’s strategy, pressure, and a whole lot of walking! I saw that Saturday was a long day for them, starting early and finishing late. Must be tiring, especially with those huge crowds watching your every move.
At the end, I was just amazed by all of this! It felt like I learned a lot about this event and even golf. Not bad for a simple search, right?
