Alright, let’s talk about this Tricia Cullop and her money, you know, the salary thing. I heard folks jabbering about it, so I figured I’d try and make sense of it for ya.
So, this Tricia, she’s the coach, the head coach, for the women’s basketball team at the, uh, University of Toledo. Yeah, that’s right, the Rockets. That’s a long spell, ain’t it? She must be doin’ somethin’ right. But that ain’t the end of the story, no sirree.
Now, this is where it gets interestin’. Last year, they say she was gettin’ somethin’ like $280,000. That’s a whole lotta money, more than I ever seen in my life, I tell ya. They’re givin’ her $360,000 next season, just for coachin’! Can you believe that? But wait, there’s more! They’re also gonna give her an extra $40,000 for doin’ some marketin’ stuff. So, when you add it all up, she’s lookin’ at $400,000 a year. My goodness, that’s enough to buy a whole farm, maybe two!

But they ain’t sayin’ how much he’s makin’. Hmph, they keep some things secret, I guess. But you can bet your bottom dollar it’s a pretty penny too.
Anyway, this Tricia, she’s got herself a good deal, that’s for sure. Four hundred thousand dollars a year. That’s enough to keep her in grits and gravy for a long, long time. And good for her, I say. If they’re willin’ to pay it, and she’s bringin’ in the wins, then I guess it’s all fair and square. But still, $400,000… That’s just a mind-boggling number for an old gal like me.
