Okay, so I’ve been messing around with fantasy football again, and I got myself into a bit of a pickle this week. I’ve got both DJ Moore and Tank Dell on my roster, and I’m scratching my head trying to figure out who to start. It’s a real head-scratcher.
First, I dove into some recent stats. The Pro Football Network’s Start/Sit Optimizer was leaning towards Dell. They’re projecting him to get about 9.8 points, with 4.9 receptions, 58.3 yards, and 0.2 touchdowns. Doesn’t sound like a blockbuster, but it’s a bit better than their projection for Moore, which is at 9.4 points. Hmmm, interesting.
Then, I started digging around more, looking at all sorts of articles and tools about these two. It seems like both Dell and Moore are pretty solid picks for Week 12, although they haven’t been totally blowing the doors off lately. One site even called this whole situation “Wacky Week 18” and talked about who’s motivated to play hard.
I found this cool tool that pulls advice from a ton of fantasy football experts. It basically gives you instant recommendations on who to start. For Week 13, it was pulling data from over 100 experts, plus showing all these player stats. Pretty neat, huh? I punched in Dell and Moore, and it spit out some advice, though I’m still not 100% sold either way.
I even checked out some advice from the Fantasy Footballers for the playoffs, just to get another opinion. Their take is also kind of in the middle, not really pushing me to pick one guy over the other.
So, after all this, I decided to keep digging. I’m checking for any last-minute news, injuries, anything that might sway my decision. The latest PPR projections I saw are still favoring Moore, but it’s super close.
My current plan:
- Monitor the injury reports like a hawk.
- Read up on any late-breaking news that could affect either player.
- Weigh the projections, but also trust my gut feeling after digesting all this info.
It’s still a toss-up, but that’s what I’m working with. Let’s see how this plays out!
