Okay, so I’ve been trying to figure out what channel this Golden State game is on tonight. It’s been a bit of a runaround, but I finally got it sorted.
Started off checking the series history
First, I took a look at the recent games between the Warriors and whoever they’re playing. Turns out it’s the Indiana Pacers. Apparently, Indiana’s been doing pretty well, winning 7 out of their last 10 games against Golden State. The last one was on December 23, 2024, where Indiana won 111 to 105. There was also a game mentioned on March 22, but no score for that one.
Then I checked who they were playing tonight
Found out they’re actually playing the Phoenix Suns tonight, not the Pacers. Classic mix-up on my part. It’s a regular-season game, and it’s happening on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at the Footprint Center in Phoenix.
Figuring out the TV situation
Now, this is where it got a bit tricky. I don’t have cable, so I needed to see if I could stream it. Turns out, NBC Sports Bay Area is the channel I need. And good news! It’s available on FuboTV, YouTube TV, Hulu, and DirectTV Stream. I already have YouTube TV, so that works out perfectly.
Regional stuff
Apparently, NBC Sports Bay Area is the go-to for Golden State games if you’re in central California or southern Oregon. Good to know if I ever move, I guess.
So yeah, that’s my little adventure in figuring out how to watch the Warriors game tonight. Took a few wrong turns, but we got there in the end. Game on!
- Checked past games.
- Realized I had the wrong opponent.
- Figured out the right channel.
- Sorted out streaming options.
- Learned about regional broadcasts.
Anyway, now to wait for the game to start. Go Warriors!
