Okay, so, I’ve been thinking about getting a tattoo for a while now, and I’ve always been a huge fan of Finn Balor. That guy’s just awesome, right? His entrance, his moves, and especially his body paint. I mean, the Demon King persona is just too cool. But lately, I’ve been really drawn to his arm tattoo. It’s this intricate, geometric design that looks super unique. I thought, “Man, I gotta get something like that!”
So, I started by doing a ton of research online. I looked up all sorts of pictures of Finn’s tattoo, trying to get a good sense of the design from different angles. It’s not just a simple pattern; it’s got all these layers and details that are hard to catch in just one shot. I saved a bunch of pictures, printed them out, and stuck them on my wall. My room looked like a shrine to Finn Balor for a few days, haha.
Next, I needed to find a tattoo artist who could actually pull this off. This wasn’t some basic design you could just walk in and get done. I asked around, checked out some local shops, and looked at artists’ portfolios online. I finally found this guy, Mark, who had done some really impressive geometric work. I showed him the pictures of Finn’s tattoo, and he seemed pretty confident about it. We talked about the size, placement, and all that stuff. I decided to go for my upper arm, just like Finn.
Then came the actual tattooing. Man, that was an experience! I won’t lie, it hurt quite a bit, especially in some spots. But I just kept thinking about how awesome it was going to look. Mark was super meticulous, taking his time to get every line and detail just right. He used different needle sizes to create the different line thicknesses and shading. We took a couple of breaks because it was a pretty long session – about five hours in total!
The Result
- It turned out even better than I had imagined!
- The lines are crisp and clean, and the shading gives it this really cool depth.
- It’s not an exact replica of Finn’s, but it’s definitely inspired by it, and it has my own little personal touches.
I’ve had the tattoo for a few weeks now, and I’m still stoked about it. I get compliments on it all the time. It’s a great conversation starter, especially with other wrestling fans. Plus, I just feel like a badass with it, you know? It’s like a little piece of the Demon King is always with me. I am really happy I got it done.
If you are thinking of getting some ink, remember, do your research, find a good artist, and be prepared for a bit of pain, hah! It’s totally worth it in the end, though.
