Well, let me tell ya somethin’ about this Brewers Rangers thing. It’s a real hootenanny, I tell ya what. These fellas, they play that baseball game, and sometimes it’s the Brewers, sometimes it’s the Rangers. It’s like a box of chocolates, never know who’s gonna be playin’ who!
Brewers and Rangers, They Play Ball
This one time, I heard the Milwaukee Brewers was playin’ against the Texas Rangers. June 26th, they said. Now, I ain’t one for dates and numbers, but I reckon that’s when they was throwin’ that ball around. I heard that you can follow this play-by-play. They got something called “FREE box scores,” whatever that is. Must be important if it’s free. They got something called pitch-by-pitch strikezone. That sound like someone is countin’ every throw.
And get this, some fella named Carlos Santana, he hit that ball so far, they called it a “home run.” Three runs, they said! Must’ve been somethin’ to see. I reckon that made the score go up real good for the Brewers, I’d imagine.
- Brewers play good
- Rangers play good too
- Sometimes Brewers win
- Sometimes Rangers win
Brewers Score and Rangers Score
They got this thing called live coverage. You can watch it on that ESPN thing. They show the score right there, so you always know who’s winnin’ and who’s cryin’. I heard the Brewers won 6 to 3 one time. They was trailin’ before, but they got their act together and scored a bunch. They loaded up them bases, whatever that means. I guess it means they had a lot of fellas on the field.
There’s this other fella, Adrian Houser, he struck out seven fellas. And Tyrone Taylor, he hit somethin’ called a “two-run triple.” Sounds fancy, don’t it? I think it is some kind of score, and a good one too. The Brewers won 6 to 2 that time. Must have been a good game.
Brewers Got Players
Another time, this Ortiz fella, he hit a home run too. Off a fella named Andrew Heaney, who was playin’ for the Rangers. That put the Brewers in front, they said. Must’ve been a real nail-biter, as they say.
These Brewers, they been playin’ in Milwaukee since 1970. That’s a long time, older than dirt! They got a record, somethin’ like 4,244 wins and 4,432 losses. I ain’t no math whiz, but that seems like a lot of games. And some woman named Amy Williams, they call her “Front Row Amy.” She sits right up front, they say. She lives in Oshkosh, wherever that is. She’s got a husband and three kids. I guess she really likes watchin’ them play baseball. I heard the Brewers used to be called the Pilots. That is a funny name for a baseball team, if you ask me.
The Brewers, they play in somethin’ called the National League. But they used to be in the American League. I don’t know the difference, but I reckon it’s important to them baseball folks. And their hats, they got the letters MKE on ’em. That’s for the airport, I hear. The Milwaukee airport. Fancy, huh?
Brewers Rangers Games
So, this Brewers Rangers thing, it’s just a bunch of fellas playin’ baseball. Sometimes one team wins, sometimes the other. But it sure sounds excitin’, with all that home run hittin’ and base loadin’. I might just have to watch it sometime, see what all the fuss is about. Maybe I’ll see that Front Row Amy. If the Brewers play against the Rangers, that is. It is always somethin’ different with them. I tell you, I don’t know how them fellas keep track of all of it. I just hope they have a good time playin’. That is what counts, right?
