Yo, what’s up, folks? It’s your boy back again, sharing another one of my wild experiences. Today, I’m gonna talk about my time messing around with Braun Strowman. Yeah, you heard that right, the big guy himself.
So, picture this: It was back in 2017, at Fastlane. I was just a nobody, working backstage, doing whatever needed to be done. And then, bam! I found myself face to face with Braun Strowman. The dude was huge, like, really huge. I’m not a small guy, but standing next to him, I felt like a child. He was preparing for his match against Roman Reigns, and let me tell you, the atmosphere was intense.
I remember watching the match later on. It was a brutal showdown. These two titans went at it, throwing everything they had at each other. In the end, Roman Reigns managed to pull off the win with a spear. I gotta say, it was one of the most intense matches I’d ever seen. I mean, it was the first time I ever saw Strowman being defeated. I was shocked. I think, I will never forget that match.
Some Other Stuff I Remember
- Backstage Buzz: There was this crazy energy backstage. Everyone was hyped up for the main event. I remember seeing a few other wrestlers around, like Samoa Joe, Kevin Owens, and Bobby Roode. Man, it felt surreal being around all these big names. I also heard some rumors about Strowman having a torn groin. I don’t know how much of it was true, but the guy was definitely pushing himself to the limit.
- SummerSlam 2018: Oh boy, that was another wild one. I wasn’t as involved that time, but I remember watching it and thinking, “This is insane!” Strowman was in his element, just destroying everything in his path. Man, I’ve never seen such an event like this before.
- A Tribute: Fast forward to the end of 2023, I saw this touching moment after SmackDown. Strowman, along with Jey Uso and Sami Zayn, paid tribute to Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper. They brought their sons into the ring and lit up the arena with fireflies. It was a beautiful moment, and it showed a different side of Strowman, a more human side.
Working around Braun Strowman was a wild ride. He’s a force of nature, both in and out of the ring. But I also saw glimpses of his softer side, his loyalty to his friends and his dedication to the business. It was an experience I’ll never forget.
Alright, folks, that’s all I got for today. Hope you enjoyed this little trip down memory lane. Until next time, stay awesome!
