Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this whole home run prop bets thing for a while now, and today was kind of a rollercoaster. I decided to really get into it, you know, track everything and see if I could actually make some money.
I started my day by checking out the games scheduled for today. Lots of baseball, which is perfect. Then, I started digging into some stats. Not gonna lie, it was a bit overwhelming at first. I mean, there are so many players and so many numbers!
First, I looked up some recent stuff, like who’s been hitting well lately. That dude, Max Muncy, from the Dodgers? He’s been on fire! Two walks and a home run in the last game. I made a note to keep an eye on him. The guy he’s facing tonight, Luis Severino, I also checked his stats. He’s been pitching okay, but nothing too scary.
- Checked today’s games.
- Looked up recent player performances.
- Focused on Max Muncy and Luis Severino.
Then, I started looking at some advice from other people online. I saw a name, Jason Radowitz, popping up a lot. Apparently, he’s some kind of expert on this stuff. He had some picks for today, and I figured, why not? I read through his reasons, and some of them made sense to me. I mean I just a beginner, it might be helpful.
Making My Bets
I decided to put a little money on a few different players. Based on what I read and my gut feeling, I picked a couple of guys who seemed like they had a good chance of hitting a home run today. I didn’t bet a ton, just a little to make things interesting. This was as much about learning as it was about winning, at least for now.
I spent the rest of the day watching the games, keeping track of the players I bet on. Some of them did okay, some didn’t. It was a real nail-biter for a few innings there! Honestly, it’s kind of addicting, even when you’re not winning big.
By the end of the night, I didn’t exactly strike it rich, but I didn’t lose my shirt either. I learned a lot, though. Like, how important it is to really look at the matchups, not just who’s hot right now. Also, I realized that there’s a lot of luck involved, which makes it even more exciting, I guess.
So, yeah, that was my day messing around with home run prop bets. It was fun, a little frustrating, but definitely something I’ll try again. Maybe next time, I’ll even make some real money! Who knows? You gotta be in it to win it, right? And, oh boy, I learned a ton today!
