Okay, so today I decided to dig into something I’ve been curious about for a while: Phil Mickelson’s wife, Amy. I’ve seen her at tournaments, always supportive, and I wanted to know more about their story.

First, I started with a simple search. Nothing fancy, just typed in “Phil Mickelson wife Amy” and see what popped up. I skimmed through a bunch of articles, trying to get a feel for the overall picture. It was kind of overwhelming at first, lots of information, some of it probably not even that accurate.
Getting a bit organized
Next, I decided to focus on a few key things. Like, when did they meet? How long have they been together? I found out they met way back in college, at Arizona State University in 1992. That’s a long time! It seems she was a cheerleader for the Phoenix Suns NBA team.
- Met: 1992 at Arizona State University
- Married: 1996 (Wow, that’s years!)
Then, I focused to look into their family life.I learned they have three children: Amanda, Sophia, and Evan. It became clear pretty quickly that family is a huge part of their lives.
The tough times.
I remembered all the stories that Amy had fight with breast cancer, and it start in * then the research showed me how Phil even suspended his PGA Tour schedule to be with her.

It must have been such a difficult period, but it seems like it really strengthened their bond.I realized how strong Amy really is. Going through something like that, in the public eye, must have been incredibly tough.
So, I ended my little research session feeling like I had a much better understanding of Amy Mickelson. She’s not just “Phil Mickelson’s wife,” she’s a strong, supportive woman with her own story. It just goes to show, sometimes the most interesting stories are the ones you don’t always hear about.
