Alright, guys, let’s talk about the Monopoly GO! Snowy Creations event. I jumped in as soon as it started, and I’ve been grinding away. Here’s how it went down for me.
Getting Started
First, I checked out the milestones list. You know, to see what kinda rewards we’re talking about and how many points I needed for each. Gotta have a plan, right?
My Strategy
My usual go-to is landing on Railroads. So I figured I’d stick with that. I boosted my dice rolls whenever I was like, 6-8 spaces away from a Railroad, hoping to hit those big points from the Shutdowns and Bank Heists.
Chasing Points
- Railroads are Key: Shutdowns, Bank Heists. Those were my bread and butter. Hitting those consistently racked up the points.
- Pickups: Landing on those event-specific tokens on the board? Those are essential. That is what gives the event points
- Multipliers: I used the dice multiplier when I was close to a Railroad or a cluster of those event tokens. Sometimes it paid off, sometimes… not so much. It’s always a gamble, huh?
How it went
The first few milestones? Knocked those out pretty quick. It felt good, seeing those dice rolls and cash rewards coming in. But, you know how it is, the higher you go, the more points you need. So, the grind got real.
I got stuck for a bit around milestone 20. Just felt like I wasn’t landing on anything good for a while. But I pushed through, kept rolling, and finally hit a lucky streak. A couple of good Bank Heists in a row got me back on track.
Finishing Up
I’m not gonna lie, It did take dedication and many of hours of play. It also took a lot of dice, but in the end I managed to finish the event. It was a grind for me!
