Okay, so I’ve been seeing a lot of buzz about this “Nerdle” game lately. It’s like Wordle, but with numbers and equations. Sounds nerdy, right? Well, I decided to give it a shot today and see what all the fuss was about. Document everything step by step just like I record my own approaches.

First things first, I had to find the game. Just Googled “Nerdle” and it popped right up. The interface is pretty clean, just a grid and a bunch of numbers and symbols at the bottom.
My first attempt? I kinda just threw some random stuff in there to see what would stick. 2 3 + 4 = 10. I figured that’s a pretty basic equation, good starting point. Hit enter, and boom, a bunch of colors.
- Some were gray – meaning those numbers or symbols aren’t in the answer at all.
- A couple turned purple – the number or symbol is in the equation, but in the wrong spot.
- And…nothing green. Darn. Green means you got it in the right place.
Okay, time for guess number two. I knew I had to use the and +, also include the number 2 and the number 1, with the = . So I tried 9 + 8 / 2 = 13 I know the division should come first to achieve the final answer.
- More purple, the division symbol turn into green now, That’s good.
- Gray.
- Still no more green.
I needed to think. I was running out of guesses and still only had division symbol that has been confirmed placed correctly. But hey, at least it was a fun little brain teaser, and I can definitely see why people are into * I start to feel excited, I almost figure it out!
My Third Move
My last shot.18 / 2 + 9 =18. Bam! All green! Solved it!.

It’s definitely a fun little puzzle. Something to keep the mind sharp, you know? I can feel myself getting hooked already. Gonna have to add this to my daily routine, right alongside my Wordle and coffee.
