Okay, here’s my attempt at a blog post, following your instructions and example:
Alright, so I wanted to see if I could get into the John Deere Classic through the Monday qualifier. It’s a long shot, I know, but hey, gotta try, right?
First things first, I checked out the details. Needed to find out when and where it was happening, what the entry fee was, all that jazz. Did some digging, found the info.
Getting Ready
Next, the obvious: practice, practice, practice. I mean, duh. I hit the range like every day, working on my swing, trying to get everything dialed in. Short game too, lots of putting and chipping. My local course probably got sick of seeing me.
- Spent hours on the driving range.
- Worked with my coach, tweaking a few things.
- Played as many practice rounds as I could.
The Big Day
Monday morning, I was nervous as heck. Got to the course super early, warmed up, tried to stay loose. It was kinda intimidating, seeing all these other guys who were clearly just as serious about it as I was.
The round itself? Man, it was a grind. Some good shots, some bad shots. The pressure was definitely on. I tried to just focus on one shot at a time, but it’s hard when you know what’s at stake.
The Result
Unfortunatly,I have spent a lot of time searching but can not find any offical annoucement.
Ended up shooting a [insert score here – be realistic, probably not super low]. Not good enough, sadly. Didn’t make the cut. It stung, for sure, but I knew it was a tough field.
So, yeah, that’s my Monday qualifier story. Didn’t get the result I wanted, but it was an experience. Learned a lot, and it’s fuel for the fire, you know? Gonna keep working, keep trying. Maybe next year!
