So, the other day I was down this rabbit hole about cliff jumping, right? And this name kept popping up: Braxton Cashion. Then I saw “accident” and I was like, “Oh no, what happened?” So I started digging.
First, I just did a basic search. You know, typed in “Braxton Cashion cliff jumping accident” and a bunch of stuff came up. A few news-looking sites, some videos, the usual. Nothing super clear at first, though.
I started clicking around. Most of what I was finding at first was just kinda vague. It took some sifting to put together some sort of picture. I spent some serious time looking at different sites to see if the stories were matching up.
The key details. I was trying to figure out:
- Where did this even happen?
- When was it? Like, was this recent or years ago?
- How serious was it?
Putting the Pieces Together
I spent maybe an hour or two. The videos, I felt a little weird watching. I’m not a doctor, and I don’t like seeing people get hurt.
Seriously, it took a lot of back and forth, checking dates, and trying to find reliable sources to figure out anything substantial.
The amount of stuff on the internet that doesn’t give all the info is crazy. Next time, I am going to keep notes right from the start. Live and learn.
