Okay, so I’ve been digging into this whole Tulane football colors thing, and let me tell you, it’s been a bit of a ride. I started off just wanting to know what colors I should wear to the next game, you know, to show some team spirit.
First off, I just typed “Tulane football colors” into the search bar. You wouldn’t believe the mess that came up. A bunch of different sites, each one saying something slightly different. It was like, are we talking about the same team here? I thought it would be simple, but no.
So, I started clicking through. Some sites were all about the history of the colors, which, don’t get me wrong, is cool and all, but I just wanted to know what to wear! Others were selling jerseys and hats and stuff. Then there were these forum threads where people were arguing about the “correct” shade of green. I mean, come on, people, it’s just a color.
After wading through all that, I finally figured it out. I found out that they’ve got two main colors: Olive Green and Sky Blue. I think they used to have a bunch more in the past but now just go by these two.
Here’s what I pieced together:
- Olive Green: This is the main color, like, the one you see everywhere. Think of a dark, forest green, but with a little more… olive to it, I guess.
- Sky Blue: This is the secondary color. They use it for accents and stuff, like on the numbers and stripes on the jerseys. It’s a pretty bright blue, like a clear summer sky.
I even saw some pictures of the team from the old days, and it looks like they were all over the place with the colors. But now, it seems like they’ve settled on these two, and I gotta say, they look pretty sharp together. They look great on the field, which made me more excited to watch.
So, there you have it. It took a bit of digging, but now I know what colors to rock at the next Tulane game. Now I can feel confident that I won’t stick out like a sore thumb. Go Green Wave!
