Okay, so, I wanted to mess around with the AE 1 and check out all its colorways. You know, just see what’s out there and what the hype is all about.
First, I started looking for references. I browsed through different online shops, just to see what kind of pictures they had. I needed those high-res images to really get a good look at the details of each colorway.
- I spent hours looking at pictures.
- Compared prices like a hawk.
- Made notes on the colors I liked.
After gathering all the images, I started organizing them. I made a folder on my desktop, named it “AE 1 Colorways,” and then I dumped all the pictures in there. I also put it in a Spreadsheet so I can make some notes.
Then, the fun part began. I opened each picture, one by one, and just examined them. I zoomed in, checked out the stitching, the materials, the different shades of each color. It was kind of therapeutic, to be honest.
Main Colorways
Here are some of the main ones I looked at. Let me tell you, some are pretty wild, and some are more classic. There is something for everyone!
- “With Love”: This one is a peach colorway with a black cage, some unique design.
- “New Wave”: That is Anthony Edwards’s favorite colorway with its iridescent cage.
- “Best of Adi”: White and black, with a marble design on the outsole.
- “Velocity Blue”: Looks like a Minnesota Timberwolves colorway.
- “Coral”: The brightest of them all!
- “All-Star”: This one is so special with its unique, iridescent upper.
Finally, I made some notes on which ones I liked the best and which ones I would maybe consider buying. It’s tough, though, because they all have their own unique vibe.
This was just a fun little project for me. I love checking out shoes, and the AE 1 is definitely a cool one. Now I just gotta decide which colorway to maybe cop. It’s a tough decision!
