Okay, so, today I’m gonna tell you all about my little adventure with the VIBE Gymnastics Summer Camp. Let me tell you, it was a ride!
Getting Started
First off, I had to find the place, right? VIBE Gymnastics. It’s at 1411 North Tustin St in Orange, California. Not too hard to spot once you’re in the area. I called them up to get the lowdown, and they were super friendly, telling me all about their “Dreaming in Motion” motto and whatnot. Sounds cool, yeah?
Diving In
They’re open most days, with varying hours. Like, Mondays they start early, 11 AM, but most other days, it’s 2 PM to 8 PM. I decided to check it out on a Tuesday. When I got there, I saw all this gymnastics equipment and a bunch of kids having a blast. I felt like a kid again, you know?
What I Did
- Explored: I walked around, checking out all the different areas. They’ve got the usual gymnastics stuff, bars, beams, and all that. I found that they even had some Ninja equipment.
- Watched: There were classes going on, so I watched for a bit. The coaches were really energetic, and the kids were learning all sorts of flips and tricks. It looked like so much fun!
- Chatted: I talked to some of the staff and parents. They all seemed pretty happy with the place. One mom told me her daughter had been coming for years and loved it. That’s always a good sign, right?
The Activities
They had a schedule posted, and it was packed! We’re talking 25 hours a week of fun stuff. Besides the gymnastics, they do games, creative activities, and just generally letting kids run wild and burn off energy. I thought that was pretty cool. It’s not just about the sport; it’s about having a good time, too.
Figuring It Out
Before going, I did some digging online. I found some reviews, mostly good stuff. People were saying it’s one of the top summer camps around. I also asked around, and a few parents I know recommended it. So, I felt pretty good about trying it out.
Wrapping Up
I spent a good few hours there, just soaking it all in. I didn’t take any classes myself, but I got a good feel for the place. It’s definitely somewhere I’d consider sending my own kids if I had any. They really seemed to live up to that whole “dreams become action” thing. I left feeling pretty impressed. It had a real good vibe, you know? It’s not just a place to learn gymnastics; it seemed like a place where kids can really grow and be themselves, and that’s what it’s really all about.
