Alright, so I’ve been digging into this whole UFC internship thing, and let me tell you, it’s been a journey. I started off thinking, “Hey, I love UFC, how cool would it be to work for them?” So I started to look into it seriously.
First, I tried to understand what it takes to even think about getting into the UFC world. It’s not just about watching fights on weekends, you know? You gotta be seriously dedicated. I watched some videos and read some articles and found that even becoming a fighter is super tough. It’s all about intense training and really, really knowing your stuff when it comes to martial arts. I tried to learn some basic moves by watching videos, which was interesting. I mean, I’m not planning to step into the octagon anytime soon, but it gave me a whole new level of respect for those fighters.
Then, I thought, “Okay, fighting isn’t my path, but maybe there’s another way in.” That’s when I started looking into internships. I spent hours going through any information I could find.
So after all the search, I learned that a UFC internship might pay around 20 bucks an hour. Not bad for an internship, right? I kept this number in mind and I did some calculations.
Here’s what I did next:
- Checked out their requirements: I went through job postings. Tried to understand what kind of skills they’re looking for.
- Brushed up my resume: I made sure my resume was up to date.
- Practiced my interview skills: Even though I hadn’t applied yet, I figured it’s good to be prepared. So I practiced answering common interview questions.
Then came the waiting game. It felt like forever! I kept checking my email and spam folder, hoping for that “Congratulations!” message. And you know what? One day, it finally came! I got an interview! I was excited, nervous, and everything in between.
I prepped like crazy for the interview. I researched common interview questions, practiced my answers in front of the mirror, and even picked out a nice outfit. When the day came, I was a bundle of nerves, but I did my best.
After a few more days of waiting (which felt like an eternity, by the way), I finally got the news. I got an internship! I couldn’t believe it! All that hard work paid off.
It’s been a wild ride, but I’m so glad I stuck with it. This whole experience taught me a lot about setting goals, working hard, and never giving up on something you want. And who knows, maybe this internship will lead to something even bigger down the road. I’m excited to see what the future holds!
