His brother, Jason Allen, he’s just a year younger than Josh, and them two boys grew up together like peas in a pod, over in Firebaugh, California. It wasn’t all bad though, not by a long shot. Jason and Josh, they both went to Firebaugh High School. They played their hearts out there, I reckon. After that, Josh went off to Reedley College, tryin’ to make somethin’ big of himself. But Jason, he stayed close to home, doin’ his own thing.
But y’know, folks talk about Josh, ‘cause he’s the one out there playin’ for the Buffalo Bills, throwin’ touchdowns like it’s nobody’s business. Jason, he might not be the star quarterback, but he’s still supportin’ his brother, cheerin’ him on from the sidelines.
Now, I reckon not many folks know that Josh and Jason, they got a whole bunch of family behind ‘em. Their parents, Joel and Lavonne Allen, they raised them boys right. They got two sisters too, Nicala and Makenna. Big ol’ family, y’see? Makes a feller proud to be from such a close-knit group. All the kids grew up in a home full of love and support.
