Alright, so the other day I was trying to remember the Yankees’ Opening Day lineup from 2019. You know, sometimes those random baseball thoughts just pop into your head. I figured, “Hey, I can probably find this online pretty easily, it can’t be that hard.” So, I started my little quest.

Digging Through the Internet
First, I just fired up Google. I figured that was the place to start. I figured I’d find the result right away and be done with it.
I typed in something like “2019 Yankees Opening Day Lineup” and, boom, tons of stuff came up. It was actually a little overwhelming at first! I just needed the starting nine, I don’t want all this fluff.
I clicked around on some of the sport websites, and it was filled with stuff. I got what I needed, but man, it was a process.
Finally Getting the Lineup
After all that searching, and all that digging, I finally pieced together the lineup I wanted. I even double-checked it on a couple of different sites to make sure I had it right. It’s always better to be safe when it comes to these things. Here’s the lineup, at long last:
- 1. Brett Gardner (LF)
- 2. Aaron Judge (RF)
- 3. Giancarlo Stanton (DH)
- 4. Luke Voit (1B)
- 5. Aaron Hicks (CF)
- 6. Miguel Andújar (3B)
- 7. Gleyber Torres (SS)
- 8. Troy Tulowitzki (2B)
- 9. Gary Sánchez (C)
And, there you have it. The 2019 Yankees opening day lineup. Now my brain can finally have a rest.
